Bagnati Tennis Academy: Membership Ecosystem & Policies
 

How Our Membership Works Enrollment at Bagnati Tennis Academy is a subscription to our developmental ecosystem, not just a drop-in service. Your tuition secures your player’s place in a continuous pathway and allows us to retain top-tier coaching talent year-round.
 

• Continuous Enrollment: Tuition is billed monthly. To stop or pause billing, you must change your status to "Hold" or "Cancel" following the notice periods below.

• The "Hold" Benefit: We know schedules get busy. Instead of canceling and losing your priority spot, you can switch to "Hold Status." This keeps you in the system, waives the Re-Registration Fee, and guarantees your spot upon return.
   

Membership Status & Billing Policies

1. Active Status

• Standard Billing: Payments are processed automatically on the 1st of each month.

• No Re-Registration Fee: Active members remain in the ecosystem with no additional administrative fees.

2. Hold Status (Pausing Membership)

• Policy: A 30-day email notice prior to the next billing date is required to switch to Hold Status.

• Fee: A $25/month Hold Fee will be applied.

• Benefits: This fee reserves the player’s priority spot for the next season, ensures continuity in our curriculum tracking, and waives the $50 Re-Registration Fee upon full return.

3. Canceled Status (Terminating Membership)

• Policy: A 30-day email notice prior to the next billing date is required to cancel membership.

• Early Termination: If a cancellation is requested without the required 30-day notice, an early termination fee equal to the current monthly payment will be charged to the account on file.

• Re-Joining: Players who cancel and wish to return later will be subject to a $50 Re-Registration Fee and will be placed on the waitlist with no guarantee of a spot.

Note: Membership fees are non-refundable once billed, regardless of attendance.
 

Make-Up Lesson Policies

• Weather-Related Make-Ups: Due to our small group sizes and personalized coaching, each player is eligible for one weather-related make-up per month. These are held during other Academy-scheduled lessons or Fridays, depending on availability, and are announced via the app.

• Illness-Related Make-Ups: Require a doctor’s note to schedule a make-up lesson.

• General Absences: Missed lessons for personal reasons (e.g., vacations, scheduling conflicts) do not qualify for a make-up.

• Missed Make-Up Sessions: Bagnati Academy is not responsible for rescheduling if a player does not attend their confirmed make-up session.

• The "5th Week" & Closures: In months with five Mon/Weds/Thurs, the additional sessions are built into the program to account for potential weather cancellations. Scheduled academy closures (e.g., holidays, school breaks) are factored into yearly pricing and are not eligible for make-ups or credits.
   

Injury & Medical Leave

• In the event of an injury, Bagnati Academy will pause the membership immediately (waiving the 30-day notice) and apply a credit toward lessons upon the player's return.

• A doctor's note is required to confirm medical leave.
   

Payment & Late Fees

• Automatic Billing: Occurs on the 1st of each month. If the 1st falls on a weekend/holiday, payments may be processed the previous business day.

• Late Fee: A $15 fee applies if payment is not received within 5 days of billing.

• Failed Payments: If a payment fails twice, the player’s spot may be released to the waitlist.
   

Player & Parent Responsibilities

• Attendance: Players are expected to arrive on time and ready to play. Parents must notify the academy in advance of absences.

• Code of Conduct: Players must respect coaches, peers, and facilities.

• Parent Viewing: Parents are asked to remain at a respectful distance from the courts. Please do not enter the court area or position yourself directly behind the fence line. Please use designated viewing points to ensure a focused and safe learning environment.
